Algebra I is the gateway to the rest of the math classes that you will take in high school . The ideas that you will learn will set the foundation for Geometry and Algebra II. You will learn about linear, quadratic, exponential, and nonlinear functions and relationships. You will describe these relationships using equations, graphs, tables, and real world applications. You will also learn how to solve equations, inequalities, and systems. Students will understand the meaning of slope, intercepts, vertex, zero’s and be able to model them
